It has been a season of wedding’s, friends, acquaintances, long lost friends as well as lost friends; and as usual, the thought process of attending so many marriages and being a part of my own forced my mind to find patterns; rational or irrational doesn’t matter because the whole process of thinking here revolves around the rationality of marriage itself.

I would suggest that a total aspect of emotions should be kept aside in the discussion, as it brings in a completely new dimension to the whole topic. I would like to agree and mention early on that man is a slave to emotions.

I agree that it has barely been a little more than a month to my own marriage and in this time span I saw three of my friends getting married and a couple of more planning their marriages; these thoughts are not about being happy in marriage or otherwise, they are simply focused on the sole driving force of economy called marriage.

People ask me how does it feel to get married? One honest thing that I feel is getting married is expensive, so what is common is all the marriages? "Expenses", however simple a marriage or however grand, its not only the process of getting married which is expensive; its the expenses before marriage as well as after marriage and the relative juggernaut which brings an avalanche effect.

I always wondered, did God himself think about the expenses before creating the world? Before I raise any flames, the expenses occurred on God’s behalf is considered in terms of Energy he expends to create it.Did He think how much energy would he need to maintain it? or did he think about the energy spent in being sad about the state of the earth now?

So, taking things at a fundamental perspective we can generalize a statement that your basic driving force of economy is the physical attraction between a man and a woman or a man and a man or a woman and woman.

Another question which nags me again and again is whether love or sex is the driving force, but I don’t have that stout a heart as to enter such a debate which might earn me the wrath of my wife.

Its just that the same things get repeated a generation later. Same expenses, same events. So tell me what is the driving force of the economy?

Sorry guys, but I have decided to continue with this blog, and even after a hiatus of 16 days when u all thought even the 6th attempt down the drain, I come back, with loads of news..
Personal life, going Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry nicely.
Professionally got f***ed again and have moved on… Basically will be shifting the venue of my living to Mumbai, place of my birth..(If I havent mentioned that before BEWARE! its my favorite place to rant about)
Not changing the line of work as such but still its a substantial change..
Also, some big news is that me and mrs. 3xt are approaching parenthood.. so we are super happy…
Yes, yes, those whom I had to call and I haven’t called, apologies due to work problems, and the junky crappy people I was working with.
Still we are over the moon as you guys can expect.. I mean who wouldn’t be?? Though our visibility in terms of happiness is very restricted and I am still the bull faced bastard that you generally know me as..
Minor few things from the last trip to Mumbai.. having a flyover near the airport has NOT changed things much Mr. Deshmukh, you need more than three such flyovers..
The renovation of Sea Rock opp Lands End will add to the glory of Lands End…
and the Indian Railways totally ROCKS! and last but not least, no city in India can provide better Paav Bhaaji than Mumbai.

More importantly, I have been chasing my demons again though I thought I had gotten over them, snarling and gnawing me with teeth salivating at the thought of tormenting me again.

I am back to technology learning which is what I do the best. Its something that never stops amazing me. Like Groove with Silverlight or SharePoint. Groove you have an ardent fan here, right from breaking up stuff into Delta’s to joining them back again.. You do it just right.

Signing off towards a new beginning in life.
